DAY 9 - Leaving Weipa & heading to Pundsand Bay for a 4 night break. We all are looking forward to this. We've pulled up just before 1pm at the Jardine river crossing , had a quick before getting on the ferry. $99 return ticket.
Stopped & got a few groceries at the Bamaga supermarket, then across to the drive through. $80 for 2ltr cask of wine & a 30 pack of Carlton mid strength. We also got some fuel $2.15 ltr. We got to Punsand Bay around 3.30pm & set up camp. Went & watched the sunset on the beach & had steak & veggies for dinner.
