Today was a reasonably early start as we had a boat cruise organised for us today at 10am.
We were booked onto an 80ft sailing boat around some of the local islands of the Caribbean
All started well we loaded our Eski full of beer and ice and boarded the yacht.
Unfortunately half way over to our destination the yacht lost its transmission!!! Luckily we could still sail into the island for our snorkelling and swimming.
After about an hour in the water - which was really warm and clear - we were taken to another boat - the Willy T - to have our lunch and some more drinks....
Lunch was very tasty - we all had the local fish - then whilst we were on the boat we all decided to go for a swim off the boat. Tony started the fun off by diving off the end of the boat then the rest of us followed - it was a lot of fun.
We were all diving off the end of the boat into the crystal clear warm water.
After lunch and drinks it was time to board the catamaran that had come out to take us back to shore - what a dilemma being stuck in the middle of the Caribbean....
The boat returned at about 5pm and then we went to the place where Anna was staying and we had a few more drinks....it was a terrifying drive there but well worth it when we got there. Their place was stunning - pool, games room, spa, magnificent views - amazing place!!!!
I think it will be an early night tonight - we are all exhausted from the sun and the swimming - oh and the beers and the rum!!!!!
Still going at 11pm drinking rum and coca cola!!! - and listening to Bob Marley songs.... Just love this place!!!!
