After we crossed the border back in to Chile it almost felt like home being back in San Pedro. It was nice to know where stuff is for a change even if the chance of getting a hot shower was slim to none! We hopped off the bus in blazing heat and set off looking for a hostel. After a bit of a trek around town (Saturdays must be busy there!) we finally found a place. Now whilst it wasn't a palace, compared to hostel Florida that we stayed in last time it was at least some sort of luxury without a cowboy fixing something in the bathroom every five minutes. Once we had dumped the bags and had a quick refresh we went out for a sturdy meal with the guys from the salt flats. The beer tasted almighty good after our time in the middle of no where and compared to the dishes served up on our tour it was immense. After stuffing ourselves and some around town based banter we went back for some chill time. That evening we all went out for another nice meal, some beers and some entertainment. Despite the Londoners trying to get us hammered we held tight. We had decided that it was time for Argentina on the Sunday and we had a bus to catch! We also bumped into our Ozzy friend Ryan, who now, after seeing hime in Peru, Bolivia (including on the flats) and Chile, would be following us to Argentina!
