As i write this im sitting in my flat chichester,south shields ,its about 6 am and i woke up like a kid on christmas morning,searching google earth for adventures to be had along the way.
I've packed my pack to mthe best extent that i can right now,although im i two minds to take my electric travel hob as i quite like cooking and it can double as a quite efficent heater for a small to medium sized room,if we ended up in Nepal (which is a distinct possiblity) it can be quite cold at times,on the otherhand though it would probably just be a burden for months and months ...

Im also gonna need to invest in a locking wire mesh bag for my bergen, ive selected a few decent books to read while we're bopping about on planes and trains...The backpackers bible,and a pretty decent book on mastering psychology to name a couple.

I'm expecting my visa to be returned to me on saturday so fingers crossed for that.
Im gonna miss alot of people ad they all know who they are! but i think im gonna miss kym the most,sounds crazy but yeah im gonna miss my dog more than people, theres some folk who i'll be glad to see the back of and they probably know who they are too ;)

We land in Delhi at around 6.30am local time so i can imagine we will be out of the airport and in the thick of it by 8-8.30am by which time the temperature will be steadly rising to reach a expected average of 40.c during the middle of the day.

im not quite sure what to expect from Delhi apart from what youtube has to offer but i think the first order of the day wouls be a huge breakfast in a shady out of the way cafe until we settle down into the hustle and bustle of life in this region of india.Once we have accustomed to our new sceanery (a few days later)first big trip will be to the city of Agra for a gander at the Taj Mahal...
