Had a leisurely morning as we didn't have to leave the hotel until 11:00am. Had breakfast (found an omelette cook!) and then dad and I went down the street to a shopping area and bought dad a couple of t-shirts (Y120 ea) and a new jacket with lots of pockets, which he needed badly (Y280). We had decided that we would not eat in the hotel for breakfast as we had the morning free so I managed to do one more blog and photos before we met up with Terry and Jacquie and caught a cab (Y10) to the south gate and walked through the old town to the same place again for breakfast (as you can probably tell we are really impressed by it)! Arose early as usual and packed our day packs for the journey to Dali as we are leaving our cases at our hotel to which we are returning on Friday. Did the trek to the breakfast room and had toast, jam and coffee again. Up early and went to breakfast in the other tower of the hotel. This consisted of going from the 5th floor down to the ground and then walking through the foyer to Tower A and catching the lift to the 20th floor, then going up a smal flight of stairs to another lift and going to the third floor in that!
