We're now back in Phonm Penh after a few days away. We have travelled up to Siem Reap and spent a few days there visiting the ancient temples of Angkor Wat which were totally amazing! We got up at 5am to see sunrise over Angkok Wat itself and then spent the rest of the day visiting loads of others. They're about 1000 years old but you can explore and climb all over them!

When we were last in Phonm Penh we visited The KIlling Fields and S-21, the school which became a prison during the Khmer Rouge's regime in Cambodia. Both were pretty harrowing and unbelievable to think al these awful things happened only 30 yeasr ago.

We leave Cambodia tomorrow for yet another long bus ride into Vietnam - to the capital Hoi Chi Minh City (Saigon) - hopefully there will no problems at the border this time!
