Mum Good to hear from you yesterday and to hear you had a great birthday. Andrew and Helen seem to have organised a good party. For some reason when I log on at home I can't get message board , can get the blogs and photos!! when there are some!!! so have to write when at school. TRhe sun has decided to shine a bit today but otherwise it has been pretty miserable for the last couple of weeks, Helen will be pleased as she will be able to show off a tan when she gets back. Everyone over here is Ok , Grandpa is managing to walk around the house a little with out his stick which is great. Grandma is busy with the garden, I think she is finding it alot of hard work. Unfortunately I don't have much time to help until 1/2 term then i will try and do some hedge cutting. We have changed the carpet in the small room now, Chris did it on Saturday. Amelia goes in the room looking for Lally, saying 'Lally bed'. Giles says he is looking forward to meeting up with you all, I don't know when you last saw him? I think he was at Uncle Peters funeral, where you there Chris? otherwise I think the last time you met him was when chis was about 4 and drew 7. He might notice a bit of a change!! Mum A bit unsure why we keep writing messages to you as you are not updating your info. Everyone keeps moaning that there are no new photos, get your act together!!! Hope Helen arrived safely today, she seems to have been on a plane for a mightly long time. I forgot to say thank you for my birthday presents although I don't know if you know anything about them, I will just assume that you chose a Guess handbag. I am a bit worried to use it, I think I will just keep it in a glass case.The house is very quiet at the moment but hopefully we will be able to get the new carpet layed in the small bedroom very soon, you old bedroom looks good now it is finished apart from a pile of helen's belongings on the floor as she has had to move all her stuff from the small room. Rip is making progress, he managed to come up stairs the other night and tell us he was scared as there was thunder, he needed help to get back down but it was good to see the progress even though he woke me up. A bit like Rip, Grandpa is also making progress, Grandma keeps complaining that Grandpa keeps disappearing because he can now move around so much easier. She takes him in the car to the common and then she takes Daisy for a walk and when she gets back to the car Gpa has gone to sit on the bench further down the common!! I think she will be putting him on a lead soon to keep track of him!! but it is all a good sign. Sean is supposed to be starting a job today so dad is  looking after Ami. A have got to go as i am on duty now, but please update the pictures, we all enjoy them. Mum

Jane de la Haye Hi Boys, Glad your having a fab. time although don't like the sound of stopped cards and banks bad news when travelling. So sorry to hear your weather hasn't been so good ours is great long may it last. Bob & I had a great week over Easter on the boat down the Rance Luke & Jodi joined us for 4days with their car so we managed atrip down to Nantes for them to go shopping in ikea (we nearly had to get the train back!!) We went on to st. Nazaire to see the submarine pens from the 2nd. w.w. and stayed there the night before driving back through Vannes Josselin very pretty especially with the sunshine. They both seemed to enjoy their trip so lets hope there will be a few more. Bob is now busy decorating the hall & cloak before he goes off at the end of May on Tenacious which finishes in Dublin so I'm going out there to join him and we have hired a motorhome for a fortnight (boat on wheels I will let you know how many times we "moor up" near water!!) Any tips on living out of a van? Please could we have some more pics. although your S.A. ones were great it bought back many memories. Great news about C. S.&A. new place, car and C. job hope their good luck continues. Take care of yourselves Have fun Jane

Mum Thought I would put a quickmessage on as you said you were going to try and down load some photos in the next few days.Dad is busy helping C,S and A move stuff today but the don't seem to realise that 11.30 is not the best time to startespecially as A was up at 6am they could have been going by 8am but dad and C are not a good combination to hurry things along. Last couple of days holiday and back to work on monday, I must admit i amnot really lookoing forward to it as i have managed to have a cold for the last 2 weeks but it is at its worst at the mo so should be better by Monday. I have been busy helping Gma dig the garden I don't know how she and Gpa have done it for so many years it nearly killed me. Sean also did some on Wed and Thu so that helped. Ami and I went to the zoo yesterday with Claire and Zoe, we saw some wallabyfrom New Zealand, wonder if you have seen many. Ami loved the zooand had a chat with an oranutan which sat one side of the glass and just looked at her, they were nose to nose through the glass although ami was a bit scared at the beginning. She ran around so much she was in bed by 7pm last night. Gma is getting her into a routine!!! but I am not so sure that C and S like her getting up so early but she will have to whenthey are both at work so it is worth working on.I can't believe Emma sorted out you cards so easily, she say though that they were likely to be stopped every 2 weeks so phone the fraud dept every 2 weeks on that free phone number I gave you and tell them where you are. It is worth trying rather than waiting till it is stopped. Emma did say it was only Chrissys card that was stopped but I don't know why, it must be they they know what a spend thrify you are chrissy!! Today is supposed to be 10' hotted than the average so I think I had bettter get out there and enjoy it. Speak to you soon. Take care. Mum

chiara day hi boys thanks for putting those photos on there really cool! its nice to hear what your up to but its even better to see the photos, Andrew looks well scared on that one photo when going to jump out of the plane but it looks amazing so does that bridge they are all so cool. andrew didnt give that lad his sunnys did he? knowing andrew probably but he is going to need them isnt he! oh yer if you get this message befor you leave oz if you see any ugg boots cheep will u get me a pair size 7 if not to much gref if so dont worry i will ask helen to get me some in hongkong its just been looking on e-bay and there well exspencive on avarage £100 but real oz ones can be more but only if you can or see them dont go out of your way. any way the my job is going well getting a little bit more intresting i had to start at 8 today so was up at 630 i havent ever been up that earlie befor i dont think, i was the first in work for a change its a mirical. when i got in all the lights were off i took me ages to find the lights swiches i was walking round in the dark for ages looking for them i bet im on the security camaras loking like a right wally. im missing my melia really badly but she'll be back on wed so not long now im going to show her all the pictures of the animals when she gets back she'll love them anyway i better go and do some work now cause im finnishing in an hour so stay safe bro's and don't do anything i wouldn't do have a ball miss ya loads love your sis chiara x x x

Mum Chris just to let you know the bank phoned on Saturday and left a number for you to phone. Dad spoke to them and they said it wasn't a prob but obviously wouldn't say why they needed to speak to you. It might be advisable to go into a HSBC if there is one around and see if they can find out why they wanted to speak to you

Mum Hi Andrew and Chrissy, Good to hear you have made it to australia. South africa seemed to have been great, I feel quite envious, especially the cheap shopping!! Everything over here is fine. Grandpa is doing well and is now walking with a stick most of the time. grandma worries about him alot but I suppose that is only natural. " weeks ago we though spring was on the way but winter seems to be back at the moment bringing rain. Rip or Pip as Ami calls him is about the same. We took him on the beach a couple of weks ago as he seemed to be making progress but I think it was too much for him although we didn't go far. The trouble is he insisted on running around with Ami chasing him. Ami is talking alot nowand copies every thing that is said. She insists on going to see Prince in the field every morning before she will even have her breakfast - Helen has brain washed her!!!! Chiara is busy as a Pampered Chef consultant which is a bit like tupperware parties but cooking equipment but I don't suppose you know much about Tupperware. The garage continues, but as usual work men who say they are going to turn up don't and dad gets annoyed - especially Tom at the mo. but at least there is progress. I had better go and do some work but at the moment all is quiet on the western front which is a change - it has been quite a challenging week this week, the furniture in my room 'keeps being rearranged'!!!!
