Hey everyone,

I've arrived in Colorado and have been here three day's now, i'm loving it. When I arrived in Denver airport on friday I had to get the shuttle to Golden where I was meeting the Holmes family. I arrived at about six and was meet by Holly, Steve, and there two kids Roxy and Conrad the whole family are fun and laid back so I had no trouble settling in. On the my second day Holly took me and Conrad, there youngest son, to the Denver Natural History Museum it was very interesting and I had a wonder around on my own while Conrad stayed in his favourite exhibit, Space, as he's obsessed with Star Wars. Later that night they had some friends round for dinner and one of them, Chris aswell, is in the tourism business for NZ so I got some really good broucher's from him.

The next day we were going up to ski in a resort called Loveland, the snow was great as four inches had fallen overnight. I spent the day sking on my own as Holly and Steve were both in a downhill competition. It was a smaller resort but it had lot's of blue runs so I could get back it to it slowly. At about four we headed up to a party with most of there friend's from the race, it was nice meeting them all although a little uncomfortable at first. After the party we headed up to Holly and Steve's Breckenridge lodge and we stayed the night there.

In the morning it was easter sunday so Roxy and Conrad had got lot's of egg's. We were going to a ski resort called A Basin so the kids could do an egg hunt on skies. Agian most of the day was spent sking on my own but I still had fun and the kids enjoyed the egg hunt. After a long day my legs were pretty tired, at about five o'clock Steve and Holly dropped me of at the Frisco lodge which is really nice. My room is small but comfortable with a bed that I have to jump up onto cause it's so high of the ground, but they have internet connection and a hot tub so i'm happy. I spent the afternoon looking around the town and due to the fact it was easter sunday had a little trouble finding anywhere to eat I just had to order a pizza and had a early night.
