Arrived to a wet and miserable Amsterdam last night, but staying in a fairly nice district, little designer shops and deli's scattered about. Got in late so a quick beer and off to bed. Monday morning we got to the British School of Amsterdam and it was a tough morning, big group shots of tiny children some as young as 2, we had tears, screaming one even had a little accident did not notice till after the photo and could see it on camera, thank god for Photoshop...

Today is chill out day especially after yesterdays walkabout!! Its also wash day so spent most of the morning washing and drying clothes. Edited my pics from Photokina and then decided on a walk into town as there was a jazz and fashion thing going on. Well today I turned 28, feels strange being out here on my birthday and certainly miss home when it's like this. Thanks to everyone for messages and facebook comments they were nice to read. Spent the day fairly close to the main house so able to drive back and forth. It's a big American airbase school I was at today, nothing exciting there really. Been a very chilled and somewhat boring weekend compared to the week. Arrived back Friday night after along drive back up from Switzerland, felt knackered after this though so ate and went to bed. Well first full day over, after this mornings portrait photography crash course we wandered into town. It's a small place loads of cafes around and small boutique type shops. The town is getting prepared for it's annual flower parade so lots of prep going on for that.
