Yesterday nana and I headed off to the Premium Outlet stores that I never made it too on Tuesday. There were so many shops and I didn't know where to begin! To be honest, I was in my glory. I bought so much stuff as everything was so cheap. Im talking designer labels such as YSL and Kenneth Cole for affordable prices..wohoo! After a long day of shopping we went across the street to one resturaunt I had been dying to go to. I had heard of Serendipity 3 on gossip girl, by word of mouth and seen photos on instagram so I had an idea of what they had and although we were going for dinner, I decided to order a strawberry bomb. Strawberry icecream, strawberry compot/syrup, vanilla cheesecakee, cream and chocolate fudge with choc coates strawberries all served in a massive glass. It was huge! I barely ate half of it but it was delicious and gave me a major sugar high.
But the night didn't end there. From Serendipity we went and saw a musical/show. 'Legends in concert' was basically singers impersonating famous singers including Britney Spears, Madonna, Elvis etc and it was pretty amazing! They looked exactly like the actual 'legends' and had amazing voices. Although I didn't know any of the elvis songs (and a few other old people who I cant even remember the names of), it was a great show & it was a bonus that we had really amzing seats.
Today was sadly the last day in vegas as tomorrow we head to Texas to begin our roadtrip. It may have been the last day, but it was the best. Ive always said as soon as I turn 18 im going sky diving. I saw a few billboards here in vegas advertising it and hoped that maybe American laws were different to Australian…sadly not. But I did have something else in mind that I knew I was old enough to do..indoor skydiving. So i did :D It was by far one of the best experiences of my life and so much fun. I was a little bit nervous to begin with but once I was in the air I didn't want to go back down. Unfortunatly youre only in the air for approx. 10 mins but the training & course took about an hour and so all in all it was a great way to end vegas. Its something ill probably never get the opportunity to do again and you cant do it in australia so there was no way I was going to pass on the oppertunity. Oh and its only made me want to jump out of a plane even more. Hehe.
When we went back to the strip I had a sudden urge to throw out all my make up and start again. Ive only ever had semi-good to crap quality make up and seeing as though I still had $550 to spend in vegas and it was my last day, I thought I might as well invest in top quality make up essentials. Long story short, after 2 hours in Sephora ( a makeup studio that carried all brands from Marc Jacobs and Too Faced to Benefit and Bobbi Brown with top make up artists), and $500 later, I walked out of the shop with the best make up I could have asked for. Woohoo now im all set. My make up artist even gave me a boost of confidence when she asked if I had ever done ever modelling and if I would consider modelling for one of their portfolios… but sadly I have to return back to reality this time in 5 weeks which means back to Australia and back to school. Yay fun.
Las Vegas has been amazing and as soon as I turn 21 (if not before), im bringing the girls here so we can all have a blast ;)
