Arrived in our next resort of Akyaka yesterday. This is the resort we came to for one week last June and it's good to be back. We were collected from our hotel in Fethiye at 9.45 and arrived in Akyaka at 11.15. Some of the staff here remember us from last year but there are a lot of repeat visitors here so it is always worth them asking! Had a couple of hours by the pool yesterday afternoon and we both fell asleep. It's very peaceful here. Think we are the youngest in the hotel too! The room we have here is great. It is on two levels with a lounge, bathroom and balcony on the ground floor and the bed and another bathroom on the first floor.

My bites are a lot better now but I still have a blister from what I assume to have been a spider bite on my ankle. It is showing no signs of popping yet but when it does I think it will be messy!

Last night we tried to eat in a small restaurant that we found on our last night last year but it was closed. We are hoping it hasn't shut down altogether! The resort is very small with not a lot of restaurants but the hotel does good food so we can always eat here. We ate going to try again tonight.

We had our welcome meeting with the rep this afternoon and have booked to go on a breakfast river trip on Wednesday and a gullet boat trip on Friday which is our last day. My tan is coming along nicely, for me anyway! Alan is on the factor 10 this week!
