We are back in school this morning after an actio´-packed and varied weekend. Host families have taken students to a range of places and offered a variety of activities. Some have been to Berlin and Potsdam for example. Others have been taken to the Heide Park, theme park.

Today we will be heading off to Habke for a walk in the forest, followed by a farewell party there in the Oran gerie.  Everyone is practising their farewell speeches (in German!). Messages from students from the Year 10 class were very well received! Everyone is making good progress with the language and feeling quite at home with the school life, food, familiy life etc. A really positive and impressive experience for everyone concerned.

A highlight was possibly the visit last week to as planetarium! WIt is located in a Primary school and we were invitied to visit a 3rd class, where the students have begun to learnEnglsih. A lot of fun for everyone and our students were really impressed with their ability to speak Englsih. The Aussies even sang as ong for them: "Inzy Winzy spider..."

Lots of mingling happening between the hosts and the aussies hwich ios good to see! The return visit will be good fun as a result... Everyone has lots of stories and photos but you,ll have to wait till we return
