Hi guys well we have left Beijing behind now but on the last few days we packed in Panjianyang flea market where I bartered in Chinese, a half day in forbidden city, visited the Great Wall and toboggan down it, Lao She museum, hutong experience with rickshaw ride and the summer palace! We have said goodbye the vodka train group and swapped contact details to keep in touch. I have a new group now Helen (from last group), Cheryl from Glasgow, Debra from London, Karen from Sydney, Kevin from Winnipeg, Julian from Mirfield, Gavin and Gareth from Northern Ireland. We took the over night train to shanghai and arrived yesterday morning. So far we have done shanghai museum, French concession, antique market where I picked up an original little red book, insect market, the bund, nanjang road and old city where we had steamed buns from a 100 year old shop! This morning me and Julian have been to see the locals doing tai chi. Well that's all from me for the mo got a couple more days free here in Shanghai then we take the overnight to Xian! Ciao for now xxxx
