Nick arrived today and about 11 Michelles uncles and aunt picked us up for a tour of Santiago. We went downtown and walked around viewing the old buildings and Central area. Then we went to the fish market and had lunch. It was very good! Then we took a cable car to the top of a small mountain and viewed the Virgen de la Immaculada Concepcion (Virgin Mary statue). 14 Meters high and really nice views of the city. After this we went to Hectors house were his wife had prepared an amazing Chilean dinner. We had dinner with the whole family and it was definately a highlight of my trip! Tomorrow we fly to Temecu where we will rent a car and then it's off to the South.
