Isn't that the truth!! It has been so cool traveling with God right there beside you. It is so much more evident when you are beyond your typical limits and knowledge. Such a great reminder that God is that close all the time, even when we are in our comfort zone. Sierra and I are getting along great. Such a blessing!! It has been wonderful getting to know her in a whole new way. See you soon Lorraine!!

Hello adventurers!
Travelling sure has it's share of struggles and frustrations but sooo worth it! I am glad there are 2 of you to figure stuff out. Sometimes travel has a way of helping you see just how much we need God in the unfamiliar.
In the beginning you were relatively optimistic about the comfort of the bus lines...20 days later...? Do you know everything about each other now? Even the things you wish you didn't!lol
I have seriously enjoyed your blog:)
We need to visit before Christmas because I don't want to wait that long to hear stories in person! Have a great return trip.

The weather on the drive in was great! When we got here we talked to a gal who said she's been here 4 days, and today was the first day she could see the mountains. We have been so blessed. God has been arranging things ahead of time for us this whole trip. I was able to get some antibiotics in Puerto Madryn, so I'm feeling good. Looking forward to the next few days. What an amazing place this is!!

We have the money we need. Sierra needed to borrow some from me, which she hates, but it's lots better than being stuck!! Banks are so strange here. We were at one bank machine yesterday evening, and it worked fine. Now today we went back, and it wouldn't work for either of us. The problem seems to be that we need so many pesos, and that is making us reach out daily/weekly limit, as though the bank is looking at 1000 pesos and saying that's all you can take out, even though that's only $100 Canadian. Neither of us could use our Visa debit or credit cards today at all, but at one place I could use my MasterCard and ATB debit which has been useless everywhere else... So I was able to take out 4000 pesos there. Sierra didn't have that kind of card, so she couldn't get any cash today. Her bank told her that she could get a cash advance from any teller anywhere in any bank South America on her Visa card, so we went to 3 different banks today, and they all said no. The bank line ups are extremely long here, so it is very time consuming to do. Good thing she isnt alone. I don't know what she would do!! I'm very annoyed at the Canadian bank, because she specifically asked what she needed to travel here. And they assured her she would have no trouble whatsoever. We called from here, and told them we were having trouble, and they said there was nothing they could do. We asked them to raise her daily limit, and they said they needed her signature, so we should change it when we get home!!! That's a lot of help!!! That's just plain dangerous!! What would she do on her own?? She is not as homesick, but we are both looking forward to coming home. I'm glad you are doing ok, and that Arlene is improving so quickly!! Love you Mom!! And thanks for the prayer!!! So good to know that God is with us each step.

You must be seeing some beautiful country. We found Bariloche on the map and traced up to Mendosa. It looks like a big trip. We are praying for you everyday and pray that you can enjoy each moment for what it has to offer and that homesickness will not get you down. My eye is doing good. I'm just finding it had to look down most of the time for 5 days a bit hard Arlene is doing great.
