Hola everyone!!! Sorry its been a long time since Ive written on here. So heres a recap of the past few weeks. . .

- School is going really well. This week was really good and I love my teacher. Last week, I was really discouraged with learning Spanish. It is just a lot to take in while I am in class and its a little overwhelming. Like I can understand it in class, but when it comes to remembering it and using it in conversation its hard. But I know that God is faithful and that He will equip me to do the work He has called me to do. My mom reminded me of the verse "'Not by might nor by power but by MY spirit says' the Lord." So that was a good reminder that its only by Gods power not by my abilities!!!!

- Ive done a lot of cool things with the school since Ive been here. In the afternoons they have different activities for the students to do. Weve had dancing classes, cooking classes, watched videos about Nicaragua, went to museums, hot springs, the beach. Its been really great and Ive gotten to go to a lot of places here that I prolly would not have gone to on my own.

- Last night was really cool bc I actually got to see the president of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega. Hes not that great of a guy but it was still really cool to see him and it was definitely a different experience.

- God has been so faithful these past 3 weeks of me being here. He has provided for me and protected me and given me the encouragement and the knowledge that I needed. I cant believe that I only have 1 more week here. I love this city so much and everything about it and my heart is definitely here!!!
