so the Oz bus has come to an end and i'm now in Sydney, where i've been for the past 2wks - and where I'll be til January! A few of us are still here, but we've had to say goodbye to a few others, which was sad as we've all become really good friends. Have done the sights here again, the opera house (mum, Janet & Jack, I took another photo of it for you, as I know you didn't get many when we came before!!), Darling Harbour, Bondi - where we walked to Coogee, partying etc etc! Oh and also U2 in concert at the Telstra Dome which was fantastic, every concert of theirs just gets better..how I could have stayed there all night and listened to Bono!! I've also stayed with my friend Jenny in Quakers Hill for a week, where they made me feel really at home, it was so good to catch up with her, Ant and Jacinta and will definitely be catching up with them again. I celebrated my '21st' (!) birthday yesterday and as a treat to myself I climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge which was amazing, couldn't have asked for a better day for it either. I wasn't sure I would be able to do it, as seem to have become afraid of heights in the last few years, but I did it and am so pleased I did...maybe i'm cured! In the evening I met up with some friends including Mel & Petra from back home and went to -5 and ice bar - basically everything is made of ice, the bar, the seats, the glasses...it was so cool (he he!) Good job they provide you with jackets, gloves and boots! We then had a few more drinks around Circular Quay, then back into the city...then somehow we ended up drinking in Kings Cross...It started off a classy night!! I had such a good day, one that won't be forgotten....
