Finally got chance to wake up late which was fab. Showered after thoroughly checking the cubical for spiders and went to the bistro for breakfast! After a lazy start I wanted to make the most of the morning so went on a walk which ended at a lookout overlooking the beach I just walked along. Glad I did it before mid day. Not only to get out of the sun but because at high tide there are crocs in the water so had a good reason to walk quickly. I also enjoyed the fact I was chilling in Oz as my mates were in university revising hard. Feels good!
I was picked up by my tour after a big lunch, we went to the Daintree ice cream factory and a few more lookouts before enjoying more Daintree tea and getting eaten alive by mosquitos in the rainforest.
I arrived late in Cairns and was feeling lazy so wanted to eat out. Thankfully though I persuaded myself to save the money and cook myself something - it was brill, although Mrs Dolmio did all the hard work!
