G'day all, Just got back from 3 days of camping on fraser island - oh. my. god. - awesome!! its the worlsd largest sandbar but is supports this rainforest and has these beautiful freshwater lakes in the middle and pounding surf on th beach. we did a 4x4 hire tour thingy, driving up the beach, camping on the beach - just heaven. there were 9 of us in our group - 8 girls and 1 guy - he was loving it! and we had a bright pink 4x4! met these crazy aussie fishermen on our 1st night, they invited us all over to use their massive bbq and they had a camp fire and let us drink their beer so that was all good. it was jaw-droppingly beautiful watching sunset, then looking up at the stars which were out of this world (excuse the pun!) and seeing shooting stars, then getting up at 6 and watching a perfect sunrise over the ocean - wow! we went to one of the headlands and sitting up there in the early morning sun you could see tiger sharks and stingrays down below, and dolphins out to sea, and eagles circling round the rocks below. today we spent all morning at lake mackenzie (the one in the pic). its a freshwater lake surrounded by white sand and the water is crystal clear - its parasdise and you cant belive its a lake! its been a wicked 3 days - absolutely loving it. will try put some pics up soon. xxxxxx fliss - sorry you didnt see any whales in spain - that sucks. glad you had a nice time anyway. how did your results go? let me know! wish you were here loads - L & Z say hi. sammy- cheers for email. sorry to hear you cant go on hol with the boys. we'll make sure camping is extra good!! have sent you an email about that. xxxx Tiffs - hope you have an awesome time in italy - dont do anything i wouldnt do hehe!! biggest goss ever when we get back to soton!!
