Back in Sydney now after an awesome few days up in far north queensland. went to port douglas for a couple of nights and did a bit of chilling out on the beach. a pod of dolphins appeared just off the beach, so close to the shore, they were just playing around, so that was cool. then went up to cape tribulation for 2 days which was beautiful. its one of the only places in the world where the rainforest comes right down to the palm-fringed beaches, and it is the oldest rainforest in the world. we met a fruit bat called sunshine, did a couple of board walks, sat on the beach til sunset. wish we could have stayed there for longer, it was amazingly beautiful. came back down to cairns then to go out to the great barrier reef and do some diving. it was awesome!! laura and i went diving for the first time by our selves, as opposed to beng with a group and we were round the far side of a coral pinacle, no one else around, about 12m down, when we saw a shark just resting in the sand. it was about 1 1/2 metres long and we just sat on the sand watching it for a while then slowly following it as it cruised around. i used up so much air in excitement, it just made my trip - the perfect end to a fantastic 3 weeks! had an awesome night out in cairns to celebrate then flew back to sydney. got a week here now, not doing a lot oweing to lack of moneyage, but think am going to get a board out today and piss about at manley, then going to see charlotte, and jess and rosie when they get here from NZ which will be awesome. i dont want to leave, absolutely loving it here, tho looking forward to catching up with everyone. lots of love xxxxx Flissy - CONGRATULATIONS!! sorry it doesnt let me know i have an email in that account! we kind of guessed what you would have got, didnt really come as much of a surprise!! well done tho, you deserve it. mum prob told you but zoe got 2 As, 2 Bs, she was stoked. how was having the house to yourself for the week? did you partay?!! really wish you were here, missing you heaps xxxxxxxxxxxxx Dad - as you will gather, yep got some scuba in, best thing EVER! i thought i was hooked before, nothing compared to how much i love it now!
