Hello again,
We have been in Pushkar for the last few days, just north of Ajmer. Stayed in an interesting hotel with very enthusiastic proprieters who showed us a few sights, our favourite being the temple on top of a slightly challenging hill with the most incredible sunset views of the city. Such a good place to chill out and we have tried our hand at some Indian cooking, including chapati, which are meant to be circular but our skills may need refining. Have met some fantastic people, including 'Captain Ramu' who has 9 camels. We went on a trek with Ali Baba and Krishna, the camels, and two lovely Indian guides into the middle of nowhere. It was literally stunning, another great sunset followed by some home cooked dins round a campfire with a few camels, cows and stars. Good times.Woke up this morning, watched the sunrise and then 'trotted' back on a camel. Entertaining to say the least, hats being a horse rider had good skills, I was less elegant. Obviously.
Now Jaipur for two nights and then hopefully Mishi and George in Delhi! The photos at the beginning of the album are from another great sunset at monsoon palace in Udaipur. Hope you like our photograpy 'skills'.
Hope everyone is well,
All our love
