It has been great reading your latest blog.....

Thought that you would like to know that a large hole has appeared in the middle of Hartley Wintney high street.Well, it's more like a cavern than a hole really...just outside the Pour House, and the A30 is closed....will be chaos tomorrow.

Spent today doing the garden, three dump runs,watched a little of the test match,took the Chandlers' roof box back,caught up on their holiday in the USA and cleared up the drive a little.Finally played American doubles with Matt and Doug....alll very contentious...line calls,foot faults etc...the usual stuff!!

Back to work tomorrow as you start your travels,

We are hoping the rain will stop before this weekends Housegroup camping in Wales! The weather has been pretty grim here as I expect you know. What has been your best experience so far do you think? Very interested to hear all the things you have been doing and glad it is working out well this year. You are certainly having more sunshine than we are here although we were v lucky in Wales and it worked out a really super holiday in that lovely camp site with the superb views - do you remember going there. It really is the best camp site in the world Im sure. Dave and Helen must be sweltering in Bulgaria - have you read its in the C40s- Im going there at the end of Sept and hope it will have cooled down by then. I go to meet them on Sun morning at 8am. They are certainly keeping you busy whilst you are there - who does the cleaning when you have gone - perhaps it just doesnt get done!! Interested to hear your comments about lots of culture in Uganda - would be interested to know just what does go on there. I really only went round Lake Victoria so didnt see any of the vast countryside - must have changed anyway a lot since

Have forwarded your email to Sara so you'll probably hear from her soon ..... if you see any UK news you will have heard of the floods in Londonand elsewhere, but not in St David's where we got a bit sunburnt although it did rain at night. Good time all week, and Doug was great with the boys. Look like you're keeping yourself busy. How big's the orphanage and what ages are the children? Is there a school there too? Love Nick
