Hello.... Not too much to update, travelling has come to a bit of a halt. We are in Cusco, Peru but there are lots of strikes which is making travelling difficult and claire has been ill for the last few days so haven't been doing too much. After Sucre we got the bus to La Paz, which I think is the highest city in the world. We are still at high altitude which makes everything a bit more tiring. Hello! Today I am in Mendoza in Argentina. We arrived here this morning after taking the overnight bus from Buenos Aires. It is a bank holiday and the weather is poor and we are tired so we are taking the day off to relax at the hostel and spend some time sorting things out etc. So now I can update you on what I have been doing since my first post. I think the last time i wrote it was our last day in Rio...from there we got a very long bus journey to Foz de Iguaz...

Hello! Just a quick update to let you know what I've been up to. Photos to follow when I have more time on the internet... We had a smooth journey to Rio, arriving at the hostel about 9am local time. It is very nice, quite small and everyone is very friendly and helpful. On that first day Claire and I got the tram up to see the statue of Christ the redeemer up on the hill. It was a very clear day so it was an amazing view of the whole city. Lovely weather and me...
