Day 2 - ok so what hasn't this city got to offer-- but that also means when your limited on time it's hard to decide what to do - so today we went to the Emirates mall - it's HUGE - it had its own indoor ski centre and other snow based activites - paid equivalent to. £50 for all activities & had an amazing time - from here we went back to the hotel and got changed and walked to the Dubai mall (worlds largest ) and fountains . WOW these are the best fountains I've ever seen - dancing to light and sound - from here we made a trip up to the top of the Burj Khalifa (worlds tallest building ) what an amazing view and only takes 60 seconds to go 124 floors . Which to give you and idea on how tall (see the images ) & know that the photo from our hotel room is floor 14 - it's a BIG difference .
After our time up there it was almost midnight & we thought what else is there to do - go watch a movie- so off we went to the cinema in the Dubai mall and this is is a very large cinema and very reasonably priced ( compared to England )& considering location and then popcorn (small) is huge and medium drink was less then £10 for all - what did we watch - dumb and dumber 2 - which I don't believe is out in uk yet - very funny :-) that's all from us sleep time at the end of a looooong day =3am
