The Gooners are on a roll! Spent the rest of the day up a ladder lopping conifers = my favourite past-time. Feel great after a hot shower and a meal plus some good wine .Now listening to the Big O full blast - what a voice! Sleep well everyone; I certainly shall.
Love to all from,

The only nice days this summer were your wedding (nearly wrote weeding) days. Hopefully we'll have a good September.

Good to see the sun shining in London yesterday - the Emirates looked glorious! I gave Gran a call this morning, she seemed very bright and was looking forward to going to church and then of course to your visit.
Rich, the game reserves apparently get booked up months in advance - I'm away tomorrow night, but perhaps call Thursday or Friday so we can finalise your trip and Laura can book the game reserve / elephant park - mum, you too, I'll send you my thoughts.... Lots of love Cathxxx
David & Lynne Aka Mum & Dad
Hi Nige & Cath,
Back from our holidays - one of our best. 16 degrees on landing, 36 degrees when we left Dubrovnik - phew! The success of the trip was very much due to the harmonious nature of the party - a very pleasant bunch indeed. I was asked to organise the presentation and give my customary speech, which I was delighted to do as the party leaders were outstanding.
Mum is back to work today, but I have got another week before my work starts up again.
Good news on Grandma, but there is the big issue of her day to day care. We will go up at the weekend, but will have to be led by the doctors and the social care team.
We trust work is going well. I will write a longer e-mail later this week.
Love to you both and Chris & Julia et al.

Hi, Lynne forwarded the link to your blog, this is an excellent way of letting everyone know about your travels, we have just had a last min internet booking hol walking in Switzerland.
I visited A.Marge as soon as I got back, she may have been down on visitors last week as Liz, Lynn/David and ourselves were all away together. My Mum and Dad visited and met Richard, they commented he had a very good bedside manner and should have been a doctor. There was a definate improvement, she was still looking frail but as far as I could see back to normal mentally, they had taken her in a wheelchair to church on the Sunday morning. I overlapped with Liz at the hospital, Alice is now putting many words together and is definately in charge. 'By for now Beryl and family

Hi Nige and Cath
It is good to see and read that you are having such a good time.
The Italian side of our family came from the Naples area. Somewhere called Benevento. Their name was Di Micelli Pacca. One day I'll get round to researching them.
Have more fun
