The wind at Ohau was violent today. It comes down the dobson valley and takes everything with it. It blows all the doors shut sending the trash cans we try and stop them with into the hallway, takes away the sheets, and sends the curtains sailing. Oh but the fresh air is so nice.

Been pretty quiet again...well with the exception of another tour leader going "over the edge" We'd cleaned the slider windows...he ran into it...and then fell of a ledge by lower temple. He's ok...so is the other driver too.

Looks like more rain is on the way, had a couple of pretty warm days but it's starting to get cold again. Autumn is on it's way : )

Still applying to colleges and waiting to hear from others, hopefully things will be sorted out by the end of the month and I"ll plan the rest of the trip from there. India is still up in the air, it might be one of those places that have to wait. Japan is out completely...too expensive at this point.

Good news both Sam and I managed to get about five days off together to go on a little NZ trip. No idea where but should be pretty fun.

Spent the day cleaning bathrooms and making beds as usual...and then....cobwebs!!! Very exciting, just happy to be outside really. We have a last night Contiki in so thats another infamous toga party, might be able to put up a little video of the rooms the morning afer...
