Our flight to Singapore left at 4.30pm Monday and the Bood Bood was equipped with Pippie for her pre flight hang in the Qantas Lounge. After some milk it was time for a half hour snooze on mumma's lap.
Then we were off!
Madam spent the flight flirting and batting lashes at anybody who would look at her. We were sitting next to another couple whose bub was sick so she didn't settle very well poor thing. Think they were also going on to London. Nightmare.
Sean was the air steward sitting near us and kept Boody happy by flirting outrageously back with her. He kept her cacking herself during take off, landing and during the flight!
She had some food out of a pouch attached to a spoon and then we put her in the bassinet while we had our dinner. She didn't sleep so she had a bit more of a mangle and then half an hour or so later (maybe 2 hours into the flight) we put her in the bassinet and she eventually fell asleep.
They then told us that if there is turbulence you have to pick them up so I was praying for a smooth flight! Which we had and we only had to wake her up as we were landing which was 12am Singapore time...
Thankfully Az had told me to take a sling so I bought and Ergo pouch before we left and it was amazing as I didn't have to carry her the whole time.
We stayed at the Parkroyal Suites on Beach Rd and while the external and area is a little shabby the apartments are big, modern and clean which is all I could ask for with Dave at work all week and Boods and I spending a lot of time in them.
So we all tucked up into bed. Boody woke at 4am which to be fair would have been 7am but we put her back down and eventually just let her get up early at about 6.30.
