hello everyone - Merry Christmas to you all. We arrived in the Blue Mountains today for our stay over christmas. We're staying in Katoomba 2hours journey inland from Sydney. Its a bit colder up here in the mountains which makes a nice change! They apparently had some snow last year on xmas day!! Doubt we will be so lucky again this year. We went on a long walk today through the mountains and saw the three sisters (three rock formations jutting out from the cliff), and a few waterfalls. Spectacular views from the lookout points. On the way back we hadn't planned the walk very well as we ended up having to walk the 900 steep steps up the mountain face!! It was hard work after an already long day! On xmas day we're planning to make our own roast dinner which i will let you know if it turns out well. The trip down the coast has been really busy with lots of places to see. Lots of great coastline and the surfs been up! Everyones a winner! We will be in sydney for the New Year so will hopefully be writing another blog soon! I havent been able to put any updated pictures up as theres been some sort of problem with the computer. I will try again soon though as have lots and lots of photos to show you all!
