May 23/12:
Today we got up early to go see my Dad's property and meet Roger, the man I hired to maintain the site... Well, the overgrowth was about 2 feet tall and I was a bit upset and disappointed about the state it was in. Needless to say, I just try to keep faith in the fact that it will be cared for and I'll try to put it out on the market to sell soon after the maintenance work is done. After that, I didn't feel well at all, so we ended up trying to find an urgent care clinic to get checked out, but to no avail. We ended up going back to Dixon and relaxed for the afternoon and evening. I ended up being feverish and had an upper respiratory tract infection/sinus infection and just hoped to feel better for the next few days so I could be well for the wedding! Christina and Aaron made us an amazing grilled salmon dinner and we went to bed so we could wake up early to have a nice day out... Dave had plans to meet Reggie his best friend, and Mason's godfather, to go to the shooting range, and I had plans with the boys to go to meet Jade in Roseville and get some shopping and errands done. Fingers crossed that I feel better in the morning... NyQuil, work your magic!
