Yangshou, China
Hey guys, hope you are all well and not missing us too much. Sorry we have been rubbish at keeping in touch the last couple of weeks but we have been on the move alot so finding time to email has been tough. We will try harder I promise hehe. I have been keeping a dirary so I can update u all the small details when I get home. We arrived in Beijing 2 weeks ago and since then it has been non stop activities and travelling. Some of the highlights were walking along the great Wall for about 5 hours which was amazing but very tiring so i had a lay in the next morning while Gary walked further to watch the sun rise. We have also been to Xian to see the terrocotta Warriors and then along to Shanghai and now to Yangshou which is this beautiful little town surrounded by mountains which I love and was a nice change from all the citys. They also sell western food which was an added bonus as im a little fed up of eating noodles and egg fried rice for breakfast, lunch and dinner LOL. It has been a great culture shock coming to China for example everyone spits on the street all the time because the air is sooo polluted and yes the toilets are just like shower trays which i must say took everyone a bit of getting used to - every place you go to, the culture and the way people do things is so different. Me and Gary are having a great time tho and have met some great people - the time is going so quickly though :( Anyways must go as we have to get ready to go out for dinner soon. Love and miss you all. Caz and Gary
