Hi Everyone.
The power is back on and I am using Paul's computer and internet connection stick from BK - our OM leader in India. BK is travelling with us wherever we go. He is normally the Business Manager at the Good Shepherd School and is a lovely humble man.
Today is Wendy's birthday and it will be a birthday for her to remember. At our team meeting this morning we sang and prayed for her. Then at the morning school assembly everyone sang Happy Birthday. We ordered a special cake for her, enjoyed by all the team and the staff at the school - where again we sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
It is wonderful how God is using Wendy, as we were asked yesterday if any of us could teach IT to the Standard 7 class. Go Wendy! She will be teaching the class this afternoon.
Wendy and I are also doing PD with the staff each morning after devotions.
Paul is doing a great job each day - we are blessed to have him lead us.
Our students continue to amaze us and astound us with their gifts and talents, their enthusiasm and willingness 'to have a go'
Brett and James shared in the School Assembly this morning, weaving in a Christian message featuring a boomerang and a kangaroo- they were so good.
All are blossoming in the classroom, after a difficult day for some yesterday. They are winning hearts and the students here in the GS School LOVE them.
We spend a lot of time singing - our 2 latest HIT LIST SONGS are "Who's the King of the Jungle" and "10,9,8 God is great" We go into each class and teach the songs!
If I am able to use this computer and there is enough power and time,I am able to upload a photo.If I use another source (there was only 1 computer at our first hotel) I am not able to upload a team photo and use a generic one from the internet.
Our days are very full and long and mostly there is no internet access. Some of the students ventured out last night with Paul to an Internet cafe to do emails - but otherwise it has been too difficult.
We praise God for all He is doing through us. We give Him the glory and praise.
