Hey Readers! Sad to say that I found out that Blogspot can often be blocked by the Great Fire Wall of China and so I have taken the time to create a new blog so I can keep in touch with out bothering myself with proxy servers etc.! The departure date is moving ever closer and my heart starts to flutter everytime I imagine leaving home, flying 5,000 miles and not seeing friends and family for 12 whole months. My preparation is slowly moving forward: 2/3 rabies injections (ouch!), buying out the Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch sales online, spending far too much on a first aid kit (I could probably treat you for everything bar actual death should you suddenly fall ill with no hope of any other possible medical treatment) and printing off lovely photos to take with me :) Still, its extremely emotional having to slowly say goodbye to close friends and family and getting more nervous and excitined day by day! Nevertheless. the London 2012 Olympics are proving a great distraction. I will try to keep this updated as much as possible and will undoubltely be skyping constantly.
