Day 80 - We had a nice early wake up from the VERY noisy birds outside our room so packed up and caught the shuttle bus back to the greyhound stand. Despite our sadness at leaving the wonders of Rockie, we realised we had subconsciously purchased rock related items - Rocky Road Cadburys and Rock Cakes, we must have been missing the place, so ate our snacks while watching the truely awful K-Pax and New in Town. After a stop at Gin Gin we drove through Bundaberg before reaching Hervey Bay where we sat in the hot sun until our shuttle bus took us to the Nomads by the beach. After sorting out our free nights stay we found our dorm room where we had a little side room to ourselves (although it had no lights!). We booked up the rest of our greyhound journey before taking a walk along the lovely sandy beach. After a little research we chose Fraser Explorer Tours for our next days trip and booked it up and had a lot of internet time, thanks to the lovely man at Tribal Travel who gave us lots of freebies for booking with him, before our $3 pasta dinner at Nomads and a butterscotch smoothie at a shop further down the beach.
