Today we woke up at around 7:30 after a long nights sleep and went down to Macy's to get a warm coat! We intended to be there for an hour tops to find a nice jacket but ended up spending 4 hours there as they had a huge sale 20-70% off almost everything! We both got really good-warm coats for under $100.
Once we left Macy's we decided to see the WTC site so we thought we'd try and work out the subway system... We got a ticket easily enough but somehow ended up on the wrong train and in Coney Island! We thought we'd stop there and have some lunch.. It was FREEZING by the bay down there! We stopped at Nathans for lunch and I had a chilli dog, rob had a cheese steak. Yum! There was a homeless lady walking out the front harassing all of the patrons for money.. She followed rob and I around asking for $1 then $5 then $10, $20, $50 & $100. She was annoying!

We got back on the subway as by then it was getting onto about 3:00 and got off at times square. Times square is amazing! Exactly how it is in the movie and on tv!!! So bright with hordes of people despite the weather... We had a guy from The Comedy Strip sell us tickets to a comedy show where Jerry Seinfeld films his stand up with the brick wall and heaps more comedians started out there. We also got tickets to The Letterman Show the next night.

We had a look around in the shops in times square then went into TGI Fridays and had dinner and drinks. We had our first buffalo wing experience which were delish but spicy! After getting a bit tipsy we went back to the hotel to sleep robs jet lag off and get ready for tomorrow.
