Hola!!!! i am in costa rica!! ahhhhhhhhh ... yeah, pretty surreal right now, but it's exciting!! it was kind of a trial getting here, my flight in miami was delayed because of a security breech? .. the president of Costa Rica was actually on our plane!! who knew presidents fly on american airlines?? pretty awesome though, and the boy and four other girls from my program were on the flight and we all met up after the deboarding of our plane because of the breech, so it worked out. It was raining when we got in which kind of sucked but just put on my amazing new rain jacket =) and later after meeing two more girls who got here earlier, we all walked into the little town. i got colones (costa rican money) and a phone card (may have gotten ripped off but hey im out 3 dollars if i did so no worries). Our hostel is really cute, im rooming with five other girls, i got the top bunk thoughh hahahahaa ! we're going to go out to dinner tonight once the remaining 3 girls get in from their flight. Its really exciting though. we got a whole itinerary and everything!! .. one night includes a visit to the discotequa !!! heeeeey .. haha just kidding dad =) ... it still hasnt hit me yet that im really here but everyone is really nice and the costa rican people seem great!! i cant wait to tell you guys more!! sorry i cant get the pictures to work yet, but i did get some and i cant waitt to show everyone!! i LOVE YOU!!! ahh ps. i forgot tomorrow is la dia de independencia and they have celebrations all day, and this thing were everyone goes outside and sings the national anthem at 6!! pretty awesome, soy emocionada!! (im excited.. for all you gringos haha ) love you again!!
