Today we were up in reasonable time with the intention to make our way back to the beginner slope. We figured we'd warm up on the slope we had our lesson on and then tackle a 'easy' grade slope at the same place. Today started with Case getting up early to go to the hotel gym. Madness. Then down to the restaurant for a buffet breakfast (also included), which thankfully was a lot less fancy than our dinner last night! Then it was off to explore the ski slopes. Today we checked out of our apartment in Interlaken and made the train journey to a little place called Grindelwald. We thought Interlaken was spectacular, but it has nothing on this place! Today we woke to a magnificent view out our balcony window. Snow capped mountains as far as the eye could see. We spent most of the day wandering around Interlaken looking at the sights and generally being tourists. After trying to make the journey to Harder Kulm (a restaurant and lookout overlooking Interlaken) and failing because it was closed, we organisined our train tickets to Grindelwald for tomorrow. Today we started with a much needed sleep in, not stirring until 1030. :) Then it was time to pack our bags again; both suitcases now having their expander zips undone… Thank god there's no bag weight limit for the train!!
