Onto the train again today and this time for a longer journey. About 7 hours worth of travel time from Munich to Amsterdam in the Netherlands, not including a train swap and the usual muck around time in the stations.

Arriving in Amsterdam we hadn't made it 100m when we were met with our first sniff of whoopee weed (it's legal here), passing two guys sharing a joint on the train platform! We then jumped in a cab only for the cabbie to start swearing when we told him the hotel address and start reversing back into the taxi queue. Apparently our hotel was just over the bridge! As it turns out it was so close that even our dodgy suitcases made it with ease!

After settling in we went hunting for some food and found an Argentinian restaurant close by. Another big feed of meat! Now it's sleepy time after a long day of travel.
