So, our trip started at 9pm on August 1st with a flight from Manchester to Dubai.

Arrived in Dubai early Thursday morning, to already searing heat and blue skies. Found our hotel, which was right next to the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Chilled for most of the day, went to Dubai Mall and to he observation deck of the Burj. Which was insanely high, 1,500ft, although some 1000ft from the top of the Burj.

All in all Dubai was awesome, even though we only had 24 hours there. Friendly people, scorching heat and a ridiculous need to show off! Apparently they are building the 8th Wonder of the World, which will be a recreation of all 7 current Wonders! Crazy!
