Aunt Ruth Hi Carrie! Sounds like you're having a terrific time! So many interesting places, so much to absorb - you could spend a year or more in Europe and still not experience everything. What has been your favorite part of the trip so far? From your photos, it sure looks like you're having a lot of fun and sound like you're working hard too! Florence is my favorite city in Italy by far. I was there in 1970 and again in 1998. Have you seen Michelangelo's David yet? I was in awe. Do you remember I think it was in 1991, that some crazy man attacked the statue with a hammer (so much for security!) and damaged his left foot and toes before they could restrain him. Lucky he didn't get any further up! Keep taking those great photos and see you when you return. Oh yeah, and Happy Thanksgiving! Love, Aunt Ruth
