Left Malaga enroute to Ronda but went via Mijas. Mijas is white village town in the hills above the coast. Quite touristy but not as bad as some of the others in Costa del Sol. You can take a donkey ride around the town but we passed. Checked out the touristy shops and bought some ceramics (2 oil/vinegar bottles & 2 small dishes with 1 slightly bigger which Chris wants to use for having his olives with his beer back home!).
Drove on to Ronda where staying at Hotel Molino for 1 night. Ronda is gorgeous. Spectacular scenery. Ended up having a couple of beers in an old mansion house that has a terrace overlooking the western cliffs. Stayed there and watched sunset but then it got too cold.
Decided to splash out on a nice restaurant dinner (to make a change from tapas) and chose Casa Santa Pola which was recommend in the LP. VERY NICE! Had a great meal, bottle of red, dessert and a dessert wine. We were both a little bit sozzled and pleased we managed to find our way back to the hotel.
