It was July 31- August 8 when my dear friends from highschool June, Analyn and some of our common friends Shewan, Cherry, Alvin and Mark conquered three countries in Asia namely Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. How I wish I was an offexploring member that time so I can blog my travel in full details. Anyway, it was a memorable travel that i want to be a part of this journal.
Our first stop is Cambodia. It was really a dream come true to visit Cambodia because of its famous Angkor Wat - the largest religious temple in the world. I first saw the sketch images of it during my history of architecture class back in college and I made a promise to myself to come in Cambodia and see the temple with my own eyes. I was in awe to see how each decorations in temple is mold and constructed in details. It was really an amazing experience that tops if off by traveling with my amazing friends.
We squeezed our 3-day stay to visit most of cambodia's tourist spots. The first morning we arrived in Siem Reap, we purchased a one-day pass to tour the Angkor Wat complex. The temple is so huge that it takes us whole day to tour the place. We also visited Ta Phrom, the famous location shot in Tomb Raider.
On our last night, we roamed around Siem Reap to buy souvenirs and drunk their famous Angkor beer that tastes like San Mig draft.
We packed our things for our next destination - Vietnam.
