Mom Hi Girls, Sounds like a lot of fun. Lucas and Dad and Danny went to the Dodger Game. Bary Bonds is playing with the Giants, so Lucas is excited. I am staying home, and relaxing.. It is very hot, and I have this silly summer cold.. Looking forward to seeing you soon. Going to watch the soccer game in the afternoon on Sunday after Spinning. Uncle Bill Hi girls, It's 2:30 AM and as usual, I am up and just got your message about your photos. Looks like you have seen a lot. Italy is my absolute favorite for food in Europe. I hope you are enjoying the dining. And I hope you are picking the people that are taking your photos with your camera carefully! If you're getting lost in Florence, better get a good map in Venice. I had a lot of trouble navigating there and when you screw up, it is hard to get back to where you started because the canals make it hard to go directly back. On the other hand, though, Venice is a truly unique place. I haven't been to Florence, but I guess it might have more art treasures. The weather is hot here too. I assume the people are going crazy in Italy because their team is still in the running for the World Cup. There will really be some celebrating if they win. Apple has just changed the configuration of MacBooks they offer in their store, so we might be able to just buy your computers in the store in SM rather than order them online. I'm typing this in bed on my new MacBook. Have fun and keep posting those photos. Uncle Bill

Nancy Stanley Waud Hi Janice and Caroline! I was calling you the "twinkies" last night. Wondering how the sandals are holding up re: walking on the hot cement! The toe tourniquet (spelling!!-) - Caroline's and the "pebbles" leopard ones - J. Bird. We flew home yesterday - 22 hours from the time we left Lech, Austira. It feels good to be home - gardened all day. It is also VERY hot here. What have you been eating over there? Pizza? Pasta? We want to see some PICTURES!!! I talked to grandpa tonight - he was 88 today. :-) Have fun - Florence is so beautiful / be sure you see the David - I think it is at the Ufizzi. Have some bread and pasta for me!
