Our departure date is getting closer, only 5 sleeps to go now. There is so much to do and so little time left to do it in. We are all very excited about this coming trip. There will be 7 of us travelling in 3 caravans, Paul & his wife Jenny & her sister Helen in the first van, Warren & Carol (lil ole me) in the 2nd van, Bob & Sue in the 3rd van. There will be 7 of us travelling in 3 caravans, Paul & his wife Jenny & her sister Helen in the first van, Warren & Carol (lil ole me) in the 2nd van, Bob & Sue in the 3rd van. The whole idea started with Paul & Jenny, they have been talking about this trip for some time now and it sounded so exciting that Warren & I and Bob & Sue decided to tag along. The plan is to virtually circumnavigate Qld, we will be going up the east coast as far as the Atherton Tablelands, heading inland from there visiting Undara Lava Tubes on the way to Normanton where we will be staying on a large cattle property trying our hand at mustering and hopefully a bit of barra fishing (really looking forward to that), from there we head south to Lawn Hill and the dinasours, Mt Isa, then another large cattle property just north of Boulia, Winton, Longreach,Windora, Quilpie, Thargomindah, Cunnamulla, St George, Dalby and finally back home to Brisbane. This should take us approximately 8 weeks. Sounds like fun hey! Well, keep watching this blog and we will keep you up to date with our adventures.

Hi Everyone, you all are having a great time and I feel like I am there with you ,in between caring for Jim..He has had his first chemo and what with the juices and all he is doing well.Dawn my sister is here and we manage to have a few laughs in between everything..Hey Pauleen thanks for the message and cooee to you and Hugh and baby william..We will be fine and Jim is really taking to Pawpaw leaf juice (not) says it tastes like s***...He sends his love to all ..Keep up the good work Carol the photos and comments just make for good reading..I think you all will need a holiday after all of this. Jim`s in hospital with a small infection..Hope to start Chemo soon..This cancer can`t be cured BUT I will try all my VOODOO stuff and keep him as long as I can I love him sooo much...Thanks for calling in it was so lovely..Ran into Wayne & Pam McCarthy at the hospital it was good to catch up. I hope I haven`t put a damper on your trip,don`t be sad rejoice in all the wonderful memories we have..Talk soon .Pam xoxxo

HI mum (Carol). Just got back from Perth thismorning so this is the first time in 10 days looking at the blog. You paint and take a great picture. Sooo jealous of the weather and the fun but you do deserve it. Dad looks like he is having the time of his life - Tully would have bought back some memories. I would not have recognised James and Murry if I fell over them! All in Perth are well and were asking after you. Keep up the excellent posts.
