We have been in Hanoi for three days and have found the people to be dynamic, happy, and very friendly. Everything is moving and growing even if it is a bit disorganized. We have toured the city, visited HoChiMins masoleum, visited temples ane museums, the Hanoi Hilton and today visted the countryside where they make "rice paper" for those fresh spring tolls. interesting process, in fact I tried my hand at it. We also visited with some veterans of the "American War". We drank rice win,talked and sang songs together.

Tomorrow we leave for Halong Bay and an overnight on a junk.
