Haven't blogged for a few days. The aftermath of 250mm of rain in a day or two in Exmouth has hindered our plans somewhat. The Cape Range National Park and associated camping and snorkelling are completely out of action. Had a day of torrential rain (26/4/14). The first rain since July last year. Creek crossings, the park and most of Exmouth were flooding. Forecast was for 50mm but Willy Weather tells us we had 154mm in 24 hours. Restricted our options a fair bit but we did manage to get into town and get a some shopping done. Had the outboard serviced and identified the problem with our radio today. Took Amanda out to Learmonth Airport for her trip home. She shouted us a cooked breakfast at the See Salt Cafe on our way through town. Amanda flew to Perth and then on to Adelaide after spending 4 or 5 hours in the Qantas Lounge courtesy of some people she met on the plane.
