we arrive (james and miles) in ko samui after a qiuck little boat ride from ko pha-ngan..thank god because i had headache/hangover from doom from the epic full moon party..
the first night of 7.. we spent in a very quiet place north not alot going on fairly chilled evening, then the time come to say goodbye to miles..me and james headed on a day trip! which included,4x4 driving, waterfalls and animal shows..which i dint really enjoy i guess they treat their animals in a way that i find disturbing elephants dancing, monkeys playing dress up all a lil strange..
myself and james then headed to chewang beach..famous for its amazing beaches and party nightlife :)
Chaweng Beach is definitely the most happening of the beaches. There are many tiny restaurants serving delightful treats and fresh homemade Thai food. No frozen food is being served here! From fresh coconut and corn on the beach.
my first experience of staying in a dorm, great way to meet people, and that we did two ovely girls from leeds, katie and sarah..
a week past in no time at all, consisting of mopeds, yes i said mo-peds very slow of course great way to see the best of ko samui..On the northern coast of Koh Samui is the famous Big Buddha shrine. Probably Samui's most well known landmark, the 12 metre high golden Buddha can be seen from several kilometres away..was pretty kool as buddas go..mummified monk!!!!!lots of waterfalls, viewpoints, snorkeling and alot of beach time, tan is getting there people! beautiful white sand!
all in all i loved ko samui but got a feeling its only going to get better!
peace out xx
