Hi ya all sorry its taken so long... so on arrival into bangkok Chelsey and i could still not believe this was it for 5 and a half months but we were so excited. On arrival at the hotel our first word to describe it was basic! That night we met our fellow groupies whom all seemed really nice.

Day one Chelsey and i thought we would be true backpackers taking in the sights, temples and culture, this was not to be. The rain poured down and the roads turned to rivers! we found a local to ask direction but instead decided to give us a day plan and attempt to con us to get in his Tuk tuk! We managed to get away and head to the MBK centre to go shopping! To those that know Chels and i this will be no suprise! ha ha

Later that night we boarded the overnight train which secretly i was most excited about and it turned out i wsa right to be. It was so much fun Sally, Steve Chels and I ventured down to the 'Disco Carridge' But was actually just a carridge with a bar one multi coloured spotlight and tunes like 'Agga Doo Doo Doo' not sure i would call it a disco we drank large beers as the sun set with the windows down playing many games of Bulls*** and s***head! When it closed we go this bottle which steve called Snake wine trust me it was more liqour, with a dead snake pretending to eat a scorpion inside yuk! Chels and i did the last shot and even have floating snake scales in it! Good times!
