Day 40-London
This morning was the start of an emotional day, for sure! We all said goodbye to those that stayed in Amsterdam to fly from the airport there, then we began the trip back through France to cross the English Channnel to get to London. The trip was filled with goodbye songs, writing messages to people in books, and enjoying the last coach ride with all these amazing people. We arrived in London around 5 or 6 in the evening, and had a few hours to do as we wished before we all met up in the London Pub to have a last drink together and enjoy the company....it was so weird to think that this was really the last time we'd see a lot of these people for a while, and even when we said goodbye, it didn't really feel like it was real. I suppose it isn't, in a way, because I know for a fact I will see many of these wonderful people again in Australia, New Zealand, and maybe even Canada and the States; that is the cool part! We'll be sharing experiences again in no time, really, and that's what needs to be remembered! You were all amazing, each and every one of you; thanks for making all my special moments special!!!
THE MOMENTS THAT COUNTED:
Eiffel tower at night......Our picnic on the 'Top of the World' in the Beaujolais Wine Region....Old Town, Nice....The gondola ride in Venice.....Mykonos.....the ferry cruise in Dubrovnik...Lake Bled, Slovenia.......the Mozart and Strauss concert....returning to Vienna.......Supper in the woods around Vienna......the Sea Organ, Zadar......Mountain biking and paragliding in Hopfgarten.....Lunch and ice cream in Vaduz.....Switzerland, period!......the Beerhall in Munich......our canal bike tour.....the last night with everyone, in London......battle of the sexes on the coach.....coach parties and singing the Backstreet boys....the culturing of Aussie and Kiwi music, along with other bands....and so many more...
Thanks, guys. Love ya!
