It takes real courage to stand up for what's right at the best of times, let alone in a foreign country. You should be proud of yourselves (hope that doesn't sound patronising!). Enjoy ther holiday bit, you've earne dit. :)

It's been fab talking to you the last 3 Sundays. The world is not such a big place after all! Hope cold and tum all better now. Your mum and dad have been fantastic to us and helped us so much we'll never be able to repay their kindness to us. But we're off to pastures new next Saturday and a new phase of our life begins. Moving to Norton St Philip perhaps not quite soexciting as your adventures but we're both looking forward to it. We're so proud of you sweetheart. Enjoy the rest ofyour trip and we will see you when you get back. I think a day's retail therapy will be just what you need-after a week in bed and some good food!! Lots of love and kisses Marilyn & Bill

Hello carrrrrrrly and Beth!
I'm enjoying reading your sunny blog in stinking raining wind a howlin' brizzol. Keep it up. It sounds amazing.
Book club is missing you Carly, Tom is in charge this month so organisation is at an all time low...Think it might be 2010 before he pulls his finger out!
Lots of love,

A great blog, made us laugh in lots of places.
Absolute scandal not to let you enjoy those waves, but can understand the gawping at two gorgeous girls froliking!
The means of transport sounds a bit hairy but what an experience.
All well here but Jack has a cough.
Keep having fun (raining here as well)
Tons of love and kisses
Kate
Woweee! Lovin the blogs ladies! It all sounds fantastic in an 'almost working most of the time' way!!
Twas my birthday weekend just gone and you were not there to play :( Good time was had by all (I think, although I don't remember much at the end of the night!).
Challenges I am giving you both to acheive:
1) Kiss and elephant for me
2) Post a photo of whatever egg masala is (!)
3) Accidentally on purpose trip up/ poke/ generally slightly harm the boy called Kevin (I mean why why why?!)
4) And finally on a serious note, DO NOT HITCHHIKE TO BLOODY GOA!!! Hell I will buy you an elephant that will ride you there if thats what it takes!!
So pleased you guys are having the time of your lives! Am v jealous! Much love and take good care, your loving friend... Katie Parmer, Anthony Parmer's li'il sister mind innit! xxx

Your take on the cultural differences when talking to the college students is very interesting. Who is learning more in this situation - you or them?
What is so strange abot being called Steve? Kevin, I grant you - very weird! A fabulous blog but I do wish you wouldn't scare your mother[s] so much with talk of kamikaze driving and [potential] hitch-hiking to Goa!
You are clearly making the most of your opportunities - keep up the good work! Bring home a suitable souvenir - an eleohant, perhaps?

Hey Pinky! Ignore Steve. Point is you're not gonna find an elephant under your pillow. :) Great that all is going so well. Keep up the good work,
Sandra
Just looking at your lastest photos. Fabulous! Take care of yourselves and stay out of the sun. Sending lots of lovexxxxxxxx
Steve
Just read latest blog. Strange that your more bothered by cockroaches than an elephant! Nature eh? Really envy your opportunity to travel around by a variety of transports but realise it must be a bit scary as well. There are examples of nursey rhymes in virtually every known language and culture - its how we learn language. Confuse them by doing Frere Jacques! Really love the blogs and look forward to the photos of your adventures.

Hi Beth, those butterflies look great! Looks like you're having a good time though the weather looks a bit cool. Try to visit Cochin when you get a chance.Love Dad
