Arrived in Thailand finally. Tis about 11:30 am tuesday here, just got back from breaky. So glad to be off planes, the flight from helsinki to bangkok was a killer. Really nice new plane n decent seats too but just couldn't get to sleep so yesterday is quite a blur. Arrived at our hotel at about 4 yesterday, it's really nice. It's called "aloft', it's only been open for a few months so we got a really good deal. About $140 each for 3 nights including buffet breaky.

Didn't do all that much yesterday. Settled in and hit the hotel restaurant as I was starving and really over aeroplane food so had an amazing potatoe soup and steak sanga which was decent. Then hung out by the pool for a bit and hit the night markets. We didn't buy too much, more just sussed out what's around the area etc. Came home and slept like babies as we pretty much did an all nighter the night before.

I think we're going to hang out for a few hours here and then hit up MBK (big ass shopping mall here, 5 levels) as none of us have much summery clothes. We head to phuket on thursday so can't imagine we'll do much until then as we're back here after phuket with James n Nicole as well.

Nothing more to update at this point, it only feels like yesterday I was here feb last year! Although at the time this holiday seems like it's gone on forever, it's hard to believe we've done london paris n sweden already, only 10 or so days and we'll be home!
